Cabling and bracing in tree care involves installing cables and braces in trees to add additional support to tree branch unions, reducing the risk of branch failure, improving tree safety and helps extend trees lives.

While it can greatly enhance tree health and safety, not every tree is a suitable candidate for this service. Proper assessment by an ISA Certified Arborist is necessary to determine the need and feasibility of cabling and bracing for individual trees.

Example of how a tree can be cabled and braced.

Why would a tree need cabling or bracing? (and how much does it cost?)

Tree cabling and bracing can help in certain cases such as:

  • Structural Support: Trees with weak or split branches or multiple trunks may require cabling or bracing to provide additional support and prevent failure.

  • Hazard Mitigation: Trees with heavy limbs or branches overhanging structures, walkways, or high-traffic areas may pose a hazard if they break or fall. Cabling or bracing can help mitigate this risk by reinforcing weak areas.

  • Storm Damage Recovery: Trees that have been damaged by storms, such as strong winds or ice, may benefit from cabling or bracing to stabilize weakened branches and prevent further damage.

  • Preservation: Cabling or bracing can be used to preserve valuable or historic trees with structural issues, allowing them to remain standing and continue to contribute to the landscape.

Not every tree will be candidate for this service. We may be able to reduce branch failure by using other methods such as pruning or pruning in tandem with cabling.

  • Do you only provide tree care or do you also remove trees?
We do both 😊 We'll put down any tree, or use science to try and make a tree feel like new. (Make sure to stop by our gallery to see us in action. 👷🏼‍♂️)
  • Are you insured?
A good question to ask any tree service provider. Yes, we carry: Liability insurance for your property up to 1 million dollars. Workman's compensation for our employees. (Many companies avoid carrying workers' compensation by classifying workers as "subcontractors," leaving homeowners liable for job site injuries. Always ask directly about this coverage and request a certificate for verification.). Equipment and vehicle insurance. We're happy to provide certificates of insurance upon request to our customers.
  • Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. We do accept all major providers.
  • Do you price match?
Service based companies operate very differently from retail based businesses. Competitors may offer a lower price by cutting corners when it comes to insurance requirements and safety. We completely understand that price plays a big role in your decision-making process. While we strive to offer competitive rates, we encourage you to consider other important factors beyond just the initial cost. Things like: insurance (workers comp and liability) customer service reputation company safety practices cleanliness reliability Consider these other factors when making your decision. After all if something does go wrong, you might want to be working with someone that's easy to work with. 🤷🏻‍♂️ We can always adjust the scope of work to best fit your budget. Check out our different tiers of service we offer in our service pages.
  • I see other companies are "Certified Tree Experts" or "Certified Tree Professionals". Is that the same as a Certified Arborist?
No. The best way to verify if they are Certified by a credited organization is to ask for a Certification ID and the name of the organization that certified them (Not their state business license). The only credited organization that certifies for a Certified Arborist is the "International Society of Arborist". You may verify certification through the ISA (International society of arborist) website https://www.treesaregood.org/findanarborist/verify to confirm certification.
  • Can you top my tree?
Unfortunately no. And you wouldn't want to either. Topping leads to unhealthy trees and high maintenance costs. There are better ways to manage tree safety other than "topping". Please review this article from the ISA explaining the dangers of this popular practice and other alternatives: Why topping hurts trees. Exercise caution when a company offers to "top" your tree. NO company that understands and provides tree care will ever offer or advertise topping.
  • Is that you guys in the pictures and videos?
Yeah! Pretty cool right? That's all us :) No stock images here.
  • How far do you service?
Anywhere within a 45 min range from our home base in Murrysville.
  • How much does tree removal cost?
Pricing to remove a tree varies depending on many factors, since no tree is the same it's hard to tell you online. If you wish, send us some pictures of your project and we'll give you a ball park idea 724-461-1483. Pricing in the area will vary greatly depending if the company you hire is insured or not, and no, fully insured does not mean fully insured. Ask directly for workers comp and see if you hit a nerve 🧐.
  • Who made your website?
Determination and a lot of effort made this website 😊. Jose himself made it :) Long story short, I had different people try to make a website for us, but it never reflected what our company was about, so I had to learn to build it myself. I probably spent close to a year working on it if we combine all the time spent, not including the time editing our videos, yes I edit those too 😅.

Why compromise on tree care standards? Did you know trees can make up to 20% of your property value*.
